What is Affordable Housing

Summary of Timeline
October 2023 – In response to city direction to maximizing the density, decision to build solely multi-family housing as rentals is made with the ideal scenario being that Habitat for Humanity homes find appropriate property elsewhere in Bothell.
August 2023 – Letter of Intent discussions begin
June 2023 – City Council study session gives direction to City staff
March 2023 – City of Bothell staffing is fulfilled with new City Manager, Deputy City Manager and Community Development Director
August 2022 – 3rd Proposal to City of Bothell for the full P-South Lot in response to their RFP
May 2022 – 2nd Proposal presented to Bothell City Council for portion of P-South subsequently received RFP from City of Bothell.
July 2021 – Habitat developed architectural drawings for a portion of P-South
June 2021 – Opportunity for potential of a portion of P-South with Sound Transit presented to us
April 2021 – 1st proposal presented to City of Bothell for Civic Lot
November 2020 – Closed on sale of Westhill property
April 2020 – Interviewed Development Partners for downtown project
December 2019 – Congregation voted to sell portion of our Westhill property
