Small Group Opportunities (childcare upon request)

Northstar meets the 4th Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. and is named for the Northstar United Methodist Church in Nikiski, Alaska, a mission supported by this group. We love local missions and are strong supporters of Threads & Treads and UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief). All are welcome! Contact: Cheryl Dineen or Sue Cancilla

Susanna Wesley meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. and is named for a woman of great faith and courage. She was the mother of John and Charles Wesley, founders of the Methodist movement. We are involved with many missions including the Doll Ministry, Treats and Treasures, the Mitten Tree Ministry as well as the Cooke Walk. Join us! Contact: Judi Burcham or Sandy Canniff

The UMW Girls & Senegal Sisters are fourth graders and above who want to experience "Faith, Hope, and Love in Action" We partner with many generations in our church and community and have a lot of fun! The Senegal Sisters formed out of VBS 2014 with the support of the United Methodist Women. We are passionate about education in Senegal. As Youth Ambassadors of Mission EDU Senegal, Senegal Sisters support Equal Chances for girls to go to school in Dakar! UMW Girls and Senegal Sisters' schedule flex to honor the busy lives of Middle Schoolers. Please check church media for more information and upcoming events.


Are you interested in crafting and sewing? Do you have a wealth of knowledge or maybe just want to learn things from scratch? We invite all skill levels to join us as we work to form this new group. Our goal is to create items that will be given out to those in need. Things like baby blankets for New Ground Bothell, and reusable sanitary products for Days for Girls. 2017 UMW Reading Program

The UMW Reading Program is an opportunity for women to stay up to date and educated in the areas of mission, social action, nurturing for community, leadership development and spiritual growth. Special recognition will be given to anyone who has read at least one book in each of the five categories and followed the monthly Response Magazine. Bothell UMC Women's Retreat

All women are invited to the annual retreat the first full weekend in March at Camp Indianola. This is a time for spiritual growth, relaxation, and fun! Watch for registration beginning in February.


The Bothell UMW raises money to support a variety of ministries through the Treats and Treasures Fall Bazaar, Cookie Walk, Spring Tea, and Fall Dinner. We also support missions by collecting the following: General Mills BoxTops, Tyson Products A+ on Sunday mornings.
